I self describe the major body of my work as Progressive Naive and focus my vision on ethnic perceptions in combination with common cultural events and situations. By mock representation, I seek universal identification - and reaction to - my work.

My medium primarily involves unconventional use of watercolor on paper. Images are created using thick layering of paint, creating flat smooth finishes. Burnishing and washing are used to create depth.

Current work has expanded to creating talismans through reforming and reawakening rescued dolls from our throw away society.  Each work is complimented by designs patterned after the cultures from which I draw my inspiration.
